Fall 2016: Liz Sampey and I set out on our largest mission yet: a 40 day long bikepacking expedition in the Peruvian Andes.

Our objective: explore diverse Ancash district from the Pacific coast to the high mountains of the cordillera Blanca where we crossed the Punta Olimpica pass at 5000m (16,400ft).
